God Is An Astronaut é uma banda irlandesa de Dublin de chill-out lo-fi, não sendo dançável o suficiente para ser considerado dance music mas usando muitas vezes de uma boa dose de electrónica. Todos os seus temas são instrumentais, mas em todos eles parece surgir uma voz, uma voz entre a melodia, uma voz vinda da alma. Numa atmosfera minimalista, na mesma linha de Mogwai, Secret Machines, Sigur Rós, com linhas melódicas em guitarra e bateria, cada canção tem uma referência própria e vive auto-suficiente, com energia e sentimento.
